I love Payton and I love Drew. But, you have to take what the defense gives you. The run was working, on a bad weather day, and Payton and Drew insist on trying to win the game "their" way. The o-line was getting whipped by the front seven in the Panthers. Why? One, they're very talented. Two, they knew they could pin their ears back and attack because Payton and Drew ARE going to throw the ball 40+ times a game. If Payton wants to fool and outsheme the opponet, the answer is right in front of him. RUN THE DANG BALL! And on top of that, then Drew and the o-line become MORE effective. It ain't rocket science Son.
You aren't going to get any disagreement from me. We are on the SAME PAGE Cruzio. Note my signature line?
