Re: Armstead To Get Another Start
I think the improvement from game 1 to game 2 will be noticeable.
Got the jitters out, can work all week on correcting his errors, and he's at home. |

Re: Armstead To Get Another Start
Brees has held the ball to long, but the fact is teams have been able to get significant pressure on Brees with a 4 man rush and put 7 in coverage, result no one is open or takes longer to get open.

Re: Armstead To Get Another Start
He should, he did all right for a rookie. There were a few times it looked like the game was moving too fast for him, but let him finish out the season starting at L/T and he'll be a keeper. Personally, I liked when he dunked over the crossbar (sans football) on the Graham TD ... I thought "now here's a guy out there just enjoying his first start in the NFL",.

I'm pretty excited to see what he looks like with an entire off-season of NFL conditioning, and a full TC/Pre-season starting at LT. |
Re: Armstead To Get Another Start
Just give him some help because Tampa watched the Carolina game and they will be trying to attack any weakness they can.

Re: Armstead To Get Another Start
This is a sign he is our guy going forward and he needs the reps to learn. Charles Brown will make a solid backup but his abilities are limited. Armstead is raw but his abilities are much higher than Brown. An offseason, full camp and pre-season and he will seem like a different man.
