o.k. -- I don\'t know about etam...tie b/w NE and Philly. If Boller weren\'t dead from the neck up, the Ravens might have an offense.
More important is how Brees is doing today. 20/23 for 5 TDs and the game isn\'t done!? Now that\'s scary. Happy Halloween everyone. ...except Venturi. I think we all know why. |

Boller is doing better than I expected him to. But I give Fassell all the credit on that one. I wonder what he could do with AB...
I still don\'t understand why the Chargers wanted Rivers over Roethlisberger...it made about as much sense as picking a lethargic defensive tackle over a perfectly good cornerback, oh wait... :casstet: |

I\'ll go you one better. I still don\'t understand why the Chargers took a QB. Brees is a bit smallish, but he\'s good and getting better. Last year he had no line. I thought they should have screwed the whole front end of the draft up and taken Gallery. He\'s an animal. Now, they have a UFA in Brees who is passing like a pro-bowler and a 1st round pick in Rivers who held out and hasn\'t done squat.
Should we make a run at Brees in the off season, or is he a one year guy? --this is not intended toward Delhomme. I still like Jake.-- Better question -- What could we get in trade for Venturi? |

Well after the performance the Pats showed against the Steelers, the definite edge goes to the Eagles for best team in the league, and I will be so bold to say the Steelers are better than the Pats right now. Roethlisberger has proven to be head of the class so far from the big 3 QB\'s in last year\'s draft. Their defense is solid and they have a very balanced offense. The way the two Pennsylvania teams are playing right now is making me lean toward a mid-season Super Bowl prediction of the Steelers and Eagles.

Don\'t look now, but the Saints are one of only 5 teams who haven\'t lost in the last two weeks.

Yeah, I think the Steelers need to get a lot of credit. I put them way up there. Indy is looking very beatable now... and KC is back all of a sudden. Just in time to play us, ain\'t that nice?

The Chiefs scare me. The Chargers are going to come out flat though methinks. Saints by 2 scores
