Saints injuries: Everyone is healthy

METAIRIE, La. – For the second straight day, everyone fully participated in practice for the New Orleans Saints. And everyone on the injury list is officially listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

That list includes quarterback Drew Brees (bruised right knee), receiver Marques Colston (back), guard Jahri Evans (knee), offensive tackle Terron Armstead (shoulder), running back Pierre Thomas (eye), tight end Josh Hill (hamstring), safety Rafael Bush (ankle), linebacker Keyunta Dawson (calf) and linebacker Kevin Reddick (shoulder).

Saints coach Sean Payton described Brees as “fine” Thursday and said the team just felt like it would be prudent to limit his snaps on Wednesday since it was still early in the week. Apparently that’s the same approach the Saints took with several veteran players on Wednesday -- but none of the starters on the list should be limited by injury at all.

"A Veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Everyone's healthy, except for...
Kenny Vaccaro
Jabari Greer
Patrick Robinson
Jonathan Vilma
Victor Butler
Kenyon Coleman
Will Smith
Joe Morgan

All were projected starters at one time. But I digress.

BTW: I saw where the Eagles have the exact same 53 man roster in week 17 as they did in week 1. In my Verne Lundquist voice... WOW!!!!

We have really missed Bush, and Dawson had his best game before he went down

3-2-1...

But other teams fans get mad when you point out the laundry list of irreplaceable injuries we have had this season, and to still be in it @ this point... Simply amazing!!!!

Tell it Vacarro - I'd feel better about the Safety position if we had him in to prevent what we saw at the end of the Carolina game...

but Smith was out as well, so it should have been a wash
instead we let another no-name receiver make the highlight reel--New England deja vu
