I was pretty confident, actually. Sue me.

I don't think Carolina is that great. Good defense. Crappy offense. I figured Atlanta would be just good enough to score just enough on offense and just good enough to stop the Panthers' crappy offense with their defense.

I wasn't blowing any Saints sunshine or whatever. I believed it.

That really couldn't be further from what I was trying to say. I just think some people, here and elsewhere, kinda got the fever, over that Falcons/'Panthers game, and kinda thinking we could somehow get the #2 seed back after we lost it earlier, is all I am trying to say. It just sounded really condescending. I don't think deep down that many people thought that Atl would win. Just putting out positive vibes. Some people believe in that kind of thing.

Failcons were 1 bad snap from having a game winning FG attempt. Hey they played they just really suck at it. Panthers will be 1 and done especially if Smith isn't back on the field.

That blown snap at the end of the game was the perfect crushing end to their season. Even though it ended our #2 hopes, I would hate to appreciate the Falcons for doing us any favors anyway.
