2) the Patriots game sticks out as a particular mare for Jimmy Graham. A key could be who the zebras are on the day. The Eagles should test their mettle when the Saints are deep on in their own half. If the zebras seems lenient then lean all over Graham.
Other. If the weather is poor, the Eagles could try the route of attrition with the punting team. We are not all that; our punt returns are non-existent. |

Re: Eagles fan here
Welcome, also looking forward to this game. Should be a good one unless it turns into a snow bowl again up there, or Drew throws several INTs.

Re: Eagles fan here
run defense is our strong point so i look forward to a slug fest there.
short and intermediate pass defense is a weak spot especially if the saint play out of control, then it maybe a long night. |

Re: Eagles fan here
Looking forward to this match up. Who DAt! I really don't know much about your team this year, so I'm doing a little research on them now.
I like our D this year, and hate to say I'm down on our O. Our line just sucks and they do try, but just cant get it together. So .........who knows |

Re: Eagles fan here
The thing is if you take away Graham (Which is not impossible) Sproles, Colston, and Thomas will come to haunt you

Re: Eagles fan here
Welcome and good luck to you and your team Saturday. As I am sure you will hear from every media talking head our opponent this week is the fact that it's a road game even more so than it's a quality opponent in the Eagles. Your team definitely has a lot to respect in a dangerous and elusive run game, a QB who doesn't make many mistakes, a WR mismatch to our secondary, a TE mismatch to our LBers and a solid o-line. Your defense has man playmakers and is probably better than the yards or points they have given up over the season.
Our lack of dedication to our run game is a concern for me. Payton seems intent on forcing the pass. As a result we need a sharp day from Brees, Colston, Graham and the rest of the weapons. Protection is concerning as well. Defensively I am less concerned. Our front seven is stout and can put heat on. Once or twice a game we have issues with gap or edge responsibility. Our secondary is the same. Will be solid and challenge for 99% of the game and blow a coverage or two and/or allow a mismatch to occur because of blitz scheme. To come away victorious we need to start very strong and get an early lead. Our run game needs to hold you accountable and not allow your back 7 to cheat the pass. We will definitely need to win or tie the turnover ratio and not waste our red zone opportunities without getting points to overcome a tough team and a definite home field advantage. |

Re: Eagles fan here
Hey, Iggles fan! Welcome. I live in Lansdale boss and grew up in S. Jerz. Very familiar with the Eagles and their fans. I am an Eagles hater, lol.
I think you guys present a pretty good challenge for us. Your defense on the backend does not worry me. If we can give Drew time (a major problem for us on the road this year) I think this game will be interesting. I do not think the Eagles have a defensive line as good as the Rams, Seahawks, or Panties, but you guys have a solid rush. My personal feeling on the biggest difference for you from last year is your offensive line. They have been really good. Foles, Foles is not a great QB in the sense that he has a massively strong arm. He doesn't, but he is very poised and doesn't make a ton of mistakes. I think you have found a good one. What worries me most about this game, being on the road, in the cold, not having Greer or Vaccaro, and our lack of protecting Drew on the road. Outside of Talib (and his foot injury), and our OLIne, no one has stopped JG. What determines this game to me is whether or not we protect Drew. If we protect Drew I think we can get the win. |
Your team stinks
