Armstead may get abused, but I doubt he'd get abused any more than Brown would.

This is a very VERY bad sign.. Trent cole is a hell of a pass rusher,and if hes calling a rookie out on what could be hes 3rd start.. BROWN SUCKS??? Guys ya all forget he got killed by robert quin who is one of the best. yes hes struggled more than that game, but by not putting brown back in this could be a murder scene.. Maybe armstead proves me wrong though and this rookie shuts down a veteran pass rusher in only his 3rd start.....????????

If they put Brown back in, it would be a murder scene. Brown is where he belongs, ON THE BENCH!

I don't think Payton would be just "sending a message" during a playoff game. He must believe that Armstead is the best option.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't watch the o-line on most plays but I don't remember him during the Tampa Bay game so he must've done pretty good.

This guy has 8 sacks on the season and he is talking like he is the best in the league. Glad SP has his players under control, I don't see Cam Jordan smack talking and he is twice the player Cole is.

Gee, I wonder if Armstead or Payton knows Cole's weaknesses? Here's one:

Cole's sacks? OAK x 1, WASH x 2, AZ x 2, CHI x 3

Where was he against decent QB's? What about against playoff teams? Lot of splaining to do, Trent.

In Armstead and Payton I trust; Brown is a decent back-up.
