In our scheme, not very often... In fact, whens the last time you have seen Colston or Meachem provide a tackle with blocking help? That's a RB/FB out of the backfield or TE job

Re: Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Trent Cole anxious to exploit matchup with New Orleans Saints rookie left tackle Terron Armstead
The question to me is not, will they give him help -- it's WHEN will they give him help. Will they try and run the offense without chipping or helping Armstead, dig a huge hole for themselves, see it's not working, and then wait until it's almost too late to try and start chipping and keeping blockers in to fix it? That's what happened in the famous Miami comeback game in '09 and felt like I saw a bit of it in the recent Panthers game.
Knowing Payton, I think he comes out the gate and tries to run the same high octane Saints offense as always, full playbook, as if we still had Nicks and Goodwin and whoever else back there from the glory days....and I worry that it's going to spell trouble if the Eagles get a couple of stops or turnovers, and if their offense starts clicking and scoring points at home...if they get a couple of sacks or a pick, we could be in a hole before we even know what hit us. I don't pay attention to it enough during the games -- I'm usually too pumped up and screaming at the TV -- but I don't think I've ever sat there in my armchair and felt like, the Saints came out on the road and I said to myself on the FIRST series, "ah, different look to the offense tonight, they are going max protect to give Brees more time and protection today." It always seems like a massive trainwreck at the start of the game, sacks and hurries and screen passes going into the dirt, until they finally hunker down and fix it, usually after the other team has scored about ten points already. If I see too much of that hordes of players going in and out of the huddle on massive substitutions, every down during a three and out, that ends with a sack....I am going to scream. |

Hope Armstead seizes this opportunity to pancake these MFers and grilled onion press their collective arses to the field so that they won't want to come back out for the second half...

Re: Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Trent Cole anxious to exploit matchup with New Orleans Saints rookie left tackle Terron Armstead
In Eagles losses this year -- Cole has had 0 sacks. This guy is a douche. Terron needs to shut this guy's trap for him.
Here's what else he said about Drew Brees: “He kind of reminds me of Kyle Orton, but he’s a little shorter,” Eagles outside linebacker Trent Cole said. Pressure, not sacks, is key against Drew Brees - ESPN |

Pretty obvious that Cole was too 'anxious'.
Maybe he wet himself? open mouth, insert green shoe, get cut by a one-and -done team |

He had only one sack, right? I don't believe it was against our "rookie" either...
Yep; Graham had the sack that went against Armstead... |
