Brooks will have a killer game
The Saints\' offense plays best in their two minute grouping when playing from behind. Brooks in the shotgun, Deuce off the field or moving in space, 3 wides spread out. I can\'t for the life of me figure out why this isn\'t the offenses base formation played nearly every down. I\'m fine with power rushing when it\'s successful. But for the Saints it hasn\'t been. Between that and all the presnap penalties (Thanks to Riley, Conwell, and others on the offensive line) the offense is in a deep hole sometime during every drive. McCarthy should gameplan a game where he never (ever) rushes the ball on 1st down. Line up in the Power I formation. Show the look. Never rush Deuce. Show that look for a whole half. Then in the second half, give Deuce the ball a third of the time. Watch a confused defense give up huge tracks of yardage as they cannot key on personell and formation anymore. Just a couple of pennies for the bucket SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |
