Nice game guys your defense was good and you ran the ball! Don't expect the latter next week.

That being said, Philly's had a better run defense this season than Seattle's. Philly 3.8 yards per attempt Seattle 3.9 yards per attempt So maybe the Saints will do even better next week. |

Re: Think we have the PEDhawks attention?
We didn't even play our "A" game last night and still won on the road in sub-freezing temps. We got beat in the turnover battle, too. I actually have confidence in our road team, as our defense just held that potent PHI offense to less than 300 yards at home. If I have confidence, a dude that's been watching for over 3 decades and know just how bad this team can be, imagine the players' confidence.
It is hard to beat any team twice in a year, even if both are at home, especially with an embarrassment on MNF. SEA's defense gives up rushing yards, even at home. We just ran for over 180 yards against the 10th best rushing defense in the NFL at 104.4 per game; SEA is 7th at 101.6 per game. In SEA, we must be patient with the run; the run will happen with patience. We've all seen Brees get rattled in the 1st half of road games, and this one in SEA will be no exception. After that first turnover by him on MNF up there, it was so obvious that he was rattled the rest of the game. Run it down there freakin' throats. Run early and often. If it costs us a few 3-and-outs, so be it. Our defense can flat out play, let them play. Putting our defense on a short field in the 1st half after a Brees pick or a strip sack is the absolute worst thing that can can happen up there. |

If Seattle beats this team twice this year they deserve the 1 seed. Helps the saints were just there a few weeks ago.

Re: Think we have the PEDhawks attention?
PEDHawks fans are already looking over us, if you peruse their forums. We will do much better, of course. There are countless examples of teams winning in a rematch after a hard loss in the first matchup. We do need Keenan to play, however, if we are to win this game.

Re: Think we have the PEDhawks attention?
They are definitely not concerned, they are way cocky and have already beat our ass once. All good for us.
No one will expect us to win this game, so really all pressure is on them. |

Re: Think we have the PEDhawks attention?
It's just their fans that are cocky and probably Richard Sherman (kid doesn't have a humble bone in his body). The rest of that team probably isn't overlooking us and knows we will show up way more than we did before.

Re: Think we have the PEDhawks attention?
I'm hoping the win in Philly obliterated Brees' s mental road block. Like I kept saying, the defense is great regardless. The offense looks good. Everybody is fine but Drew. So if we continue to ride Ingram and Robinson, no Pierre Thomas, we can do this easily.
