this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; That game is never that close. My guess is we would have run away with it. Something like 27 or 30-7, or 14...

Re: If Lewis doesn't go down...
Things definitely got wonky immediately after that.
I knew we were thin, I knew we were already into several degrees of "next man up." But I didn't quite expect THAT from just one player on defense. But yes, the Iggles were inches away from crumbling and the Philly crowds turning into boo-birds, when that weird play happened. |

Yeah, Lewis goes down and they scored 14 points quick. If he doesn't get hurt we probably win that 35-10 or something.

I think Sweeting was slow because his head was spinning 100 mph. He definitely wasn't ready for Primetime.

Re: If Lewis doesn't go down...
Sweeting and White both got some much needed "starting" experience, can only help in the long run...

Anyone else think we call up Carr if Lewis is out next week?

Re: If Lewis doesn't go down...
I am just hoping Sweeting have a complete turnaround in his play like Armstead (the new car smell) did after his 1st game
