Honorable mention - Robinson and the O-line. Khiry has some legit star potential. He will be PT's replacement in a few years. Defense - Deion Sanders, err I mean Keenan Lewis. The dude is one of the best CB's in the game today. The lock-down silencer. Honorable mention - Cam Jordan. As we sometimes do with Brees, we may soon have to start the "other than Cam Jordan, the game ball goes to"... Also: Roman Harper and Malcolm Jenkins - Only because many said they'd be targeted all game, they're a liability in coverage, they're the worst safeties on the NFL, they'll get abused blah blah blau. Neither played great but considering the Jason David-esque attacks on both of them, they deserve some credit. |

Re: Game balls
And on that touchdown Harper gave up, I don't remember it being terrible coverage... I'll have to re-watch the game and make sure though

Re: Game balls
His mind said yes, but his body said no.
His mind said, take one more step, jump and knock the ball away(catching it never crossed his mind). His body made him trip over his own feet trying to make that happen. A+ for hussle and determination, B on the execution. He crossed that T but just couldn't get that I dotted. Harper played a good game and for 59:51 his coverage was very good. Ingram gets my ball. Start to finish he was planting his foot and turning up the field. Armstead gets honorable mention, but Ingram carried the day. Jordan on defense. Graham on ST. Hopefully, now that "can't win on the road" monkey can go find a new grinder. |

Re: Game balls
I might be wrong, but if I remember correctly, Foles had literally all day to throw on that Cooper TD. When the DL can't get to the QB after about 5 or 6 seconds, that is on the DL - not the secondary.
