You're down 43 to 10 in the 4th quarter, and your team is playing with no emotion. Why not put the backups in for a few series? Put Bouman and Stecker in, and let some of the 2nd string lineman get some playing time. I don't think it could hurt anything, and you might get a surprise out of it.

I\'m remembering the Apollo Creed - Ivan Drago fight. \"Throw in the towel! Throw in the d### towel!\"

Unfair on the backups. Let the 1st team swim in their own mess.

Unfair? To give them some time off the pine? They might actually play with some heart.

Make those fat bastards on the O-line walk back to NO. Except Bentley. Some one gave Jacox credit for defending AB on that one personal foul.

Jacox should have pulled his helmet off and beat him with it. What do you have to lose? This isn\'t the Jets and the helmet throwing incident where it could cost us the game- we lost the game in the 2nd quarter.

That would have took effort and heart...two things we have none of.

If he had done that Haslett would have had his new \"cancer\". I still can\'t believe that only one guy defended Brooks. I\'ve never seen that blatent of a classless move to kick dirt on a guys face in front of the rest of his team.

True. True. Hence my original post.

You would have had to first see it in order to know it was going on. Hard to see much of anything when your head is hanging in shame.
