Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise
I was at the Lynch-ing a couple years back. At that time it was the loudest game EVER. Anywhere. May still be.
This one will be no different because the Seahawks have never been the number one seed. Just RUN the ball. Crowd noise cannot dampen a strong running game. Alaska |
Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise
I don't think they'll be any quieter.
Most of the Pedhawks fans think this game is just a formality before they play the whiners. To them this game is more of a party than a football game. |
Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise
I don't think it will be as loud. Crowds are loud in games perceived as tough. But they're all expecting a stomp-job. We all know when the Saints are heavily favored in games the dome isn't quite as loud, going to be the same thing here.

Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise
NFL tickets have gone up considerably since 2010, and so has the demand for Seahawk tickets.

Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise
Seahawks fan. I think some of you are thinking correctly it may be dimmed a bit, but it is going to be loud. Very, very loud.
As a Saints fan though, you probably shouldn't worry that much. They will have schemed around the noise for the most part. Most teams figure that out. There will be struggles for the Saints when things get weird, like if they are trying to hurry up a play worrying about a challenge, or the play clock gets messed up due to a reff'ing error. The biggest disadvantage will be for the Offensive Tackles, it always is because they have to look in at the ball instead of hearing the snap count. They lose a half-step due to that, especially on pass plays when Seattle puts in the "NASCAR" formation. Which is basically the front 6 or 7 is D-Ends and linebackers with no D Tackles. |
Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise
If the level drops they just pipe it back i trough the PA system as usual.

Re: Centurylink Crowd Noise
The noise will differ because:
1. The noise of howling wind at 31 mph 2. The intermitten yelps of the beerman shouting "anybody, anybody? you must have some money left for a beer?" |
