Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Rain, rain, and more rain predicted. That means a running game. This game will be totally different than the first one. They are missing key pieces on defense now, and we have made some changes.
My prediction: Saints 28 SeaHags 20 What's yours? |
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Saints 27-24
And because I know Danno's feeling on polls: |
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags

Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
are you freaking kidding me? A score poll?
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Saints 28 Seahawks 9
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Parody apex of the season. 37 20 Saints. Wilson calls the Saints the NSA.
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
I hate to say it but I don't see it playing out much different than week 13 think we'll score more than 7 but Seattle has had our number . God I hope I'm wrong
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
-2 turnovers = repeat of Week 13
-1 turnovers = Seahawks 23 Saints 13 Turnovers even = Seahawks 20 Saints 16 Saints +1 in turnovers = Saints 20 Seahawks 17 |
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
If that weather forecast of 31 mph winds is correct, somebody may win 10-7

Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Y'all are not gonna believe this but my 3 year old granddaughter and I have a rivalry - she knows I am a Saints fan, she insists on being a fan of the Seagulls (as she calls them). We get rather heated over this :p
I do think it will be close but Saints all the way :bng: 24 - 20 |
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Just for Danno....
17-14 Saints |
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
20-13 Saints. I think our D stands tall and we get one big play from Stills or Meachem that ends up making the difference.
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
u offered a forty burger on the menu and I am hungry. so its going to be a forty burger. 40- 20 - saints babbbbbbeeeee
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Considering we shut down Lynch last time and neither team can throw the ball, 13-10 Saints. Seahawks miss field goal as time runs out.
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Let's see:
- the Seaweeds had a week off - tough game in Philly - travel across the country - weather conditions - got spanked last game at Seattle - huge homefield advantage for the Seaweeds - harvin playing - and they have a #1 defense Saints 23-20 |
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
I see the weather helping the Saints. They have been running the ball like beasts and when they have to throw they have the better QB. This weather should slow Wilson. 27-16 Saints
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
Interesting tidbit. When the Seahawks knocked the Saints out of the Playoffs in 2010, the Hawks got their butts kicked in NOLA 34-19 earlier in the season. Very difficult to beat a team twice in any season so I am sure that will empower Saints fans. I will say 24-23 Hawks...
|
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
If the Hawks play D like this.... Hawks 30 - 16
If not, Hawks 23 - 16. Saints will be fired up and expect a fantastic hard nosed game now that Ingram may get rolling. The Hawks did hold Zac Stacy in the last game to 15 yds in 15 carries. A long of 7 yds so Zac was 14 carries for 8 yards. Jimmy Graham and Sproles are scary good. http://media.thenewstribune.com/smed...wms.AuSt.5.jpg http://media.thenewstribune.com/smed...enR.AuSt.5.JPG |

Although, I gotta say, I watched the game and thought the Rams just mailed it in since they didn't have anything to play for. But the week before, the Hawks gave up 134 yards rushing to the Arizona Cardinals in a loss. In a game that kept the Cardinals alive and could have locked up HOA for the Seahawks. I didn't get to see that game. |
Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
I knew somehow the first game the Saints were going to get smashed. This game however I feel different. The Saints running game has taken off in recent weeks and their run defense has been dominating. With this weather it will be the team who runs better. Saints 27-16

I was simply responding to Utah about his observations that Zac seemed disinterested and if so, he should've been 2 weeks prior when Zac had a buck 30. What happened in the regular season does matter now because had the Saints beat the Hawks, the Saints would've had the #1 seed in the NFC. Actually, I've been a Hawk fan since Kenny Easley, arguably the greatest safety to roam a secondary, was playing in Seattle. Better than Ronnie, just had a kidney problem. It wouldn't even surprise me if I knew more about those late 80's/early 90's Saints squads than you. That was the heyday of my football addiction. Pat Swilling and RJackson were sick. Unfortunately, from 1984 - 1995, the NFC won all the SB's and was a tough as nails conference making it difficult for N.O. to get out of the WC round. Saints needed a better QB but the D was fierce. I know ball. Don't ever underestimate your opponent and know thy enemy before you pop off next time. Try to be cool. No need for disrespect. It's just a forum, schmoe. |

You posted that the Seahawks would win 30-6 if they were playing "D like this" and your only supporting fact was the Seahawks held Stacy to 15 yards rushing. I simply showed your stat was atypical. Zac also had 130+ against the Hawks, something the teams have in common. As a matter of fact, two out of the last 4 Hawks games, they've allowed over 130 yards rushing and lost both games. Did you want to change your reasoning to the Saints defense? |

Re: Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
@JayHawk
If you think the Saints won't have analyzed this game 6 ways from Sunday and come to play with every play Sean Payton can devise to shut you guys up -- for the season -- you are dreamin' mate. You can be sure the logo on the practice field will be the tip o' the berg. As coach says, its the details. Anyway, take nothin' away from your D. It is formidable. Your offense....meh. |

What is with Wilsons less than 67% completion rate for the last 4 games of regular season? Is it Wilson or the receivers? He has played some abnormally poor ball in those last 4 games. I know your o-line allowed 4 sacks each of the last 3 games. Line a liability or is Wilson holding on too long? Your Left side o-line is as bad as our Charles brown. |

Now we're reduced to Tate & Baldwin with Kearse being hurt. That is weak. Our O scored 27 vs ya'll but it was more blown coverage (Zach Miller for 60 yds) and Wilson beating the blitz with a beautiful toss and over the shoulder catch by Baldwin. It was what the Saints did and didn't do but that was our O-Co's best called game of the season. Our o-co really stinks. Poor play calling in the red zone vs the 9ers. RRP at the 13 yd line with 5 minutes left as if he wanted to settle for a fg. Same vs Zona at the goal line right before the half where we didn't get any points. 9er's, Zona, Rams knew our tendencies, stacked the box and dared our receivers to get separation. Hawks lack weapons and reason RWilson is the X factor. Without sounding like a homer, there is only 1 guy that escapes pressure and throws on the run as well as RWilson and that's ARodgers. Kaep runs well but is a 1 read and bolt guy. Rwilson keeps his eyes downfield and has amazing touch when running. Part of that is attributed to his large hands where he can hold the rock like a loaf of bread and deliver a bullet or release with touch at a moments notice. I expect your fans to see that later today. The problem is avg wr's and an OL that isn't playing to their potential. RWilson is a true bad @$$ if the O-Co calls plays to suit his strengths and isn't so predictable as he's been the past month. I'm stating the obvious here but turnovers are the #1 key and #2 is red zone efficiency. Here's to an entertaining game! |

Predict The Score Saints vs SeaHags
So Wilson's poor completion % the last 4 games is all because of play calling....
Lacking a "true #1 WR", doesn't float around here as an excuse for a QB. We've never had one, so you'll have to excuse me for not biting onto that line of reasoning. |
