New Orleans running back Pierre Thomas and defensive lineman Akiem Hicks are questionable for Saturday afternoon’s NFC divisional playoff at Seattle, the Saints said Friday.
Thomas missed four straight practices as well as the Saints’ wildcard win at Philadelphia with a chest injury he sustained in the regular-season finale before returning to work in a limited capacity on Thursday. Hicks was limited for two days of practice. Tackle Terron Armstead (knee), cornerback Keenan Lewis (head/neck) and guard Jahri Evans (ankle) are probable to play, though they were listed on the final injury report Friday. In Seattle, safety Kam Chancellor and wide receiver Percy Harvin are probable despite being listed with hip injuries. Linebacker K.J. Wright (foot) is out, defensive tackle Jordan Hill (groin) is doubtful, and safety Chris Margos (back) is questionable. The Saints would love for Thomas to be available this Saturday. He played all 16 of the Saints’ regular-season games, rushing for a team-leading 549 yards and two touchdowns on 147 carries. He also had 513 yards and three touchdowns on 77 catches, the most among NFL running backs. Link Back |

Sucks that Hicks is a little banged up, but maybe Glenn Foster can get some more snaps during the game and show that badassness that he possesses!

Hicks was able to tape it up and go back in last week. He should be fine since he's been practicing some even though it's limited

I wonder what the Saints D will do with Harvin. He is not 100% so would you put Lewis on him?

I am concerned about not having Hicks and a healthy secondary though.
This is reminiscent of the 2010 playoffs.... |
