This has always put a tremendous amount of strain on tissue and finally, it tore. This condition has also limited many muscles that have never been used. When they fixed the Labrum, the tissue not only had to heal, but the full range ball and socked triggered muscle use that had normally stayed dormant and that is why his hip was swelling even though there was nothing structurally wrong. The Hawks wanted to give his body time to adjust to his new found muscle tissue which had again, stayed dormant his entire life and now he has even more power. He is not only as fast as he ever was, but now he is fully healed and is fully prepared for physical contact. All week players (Especially from our secondary) have been tweeting how he is "unbelievable" and at times leaving them in the dust. For Richard Sherman to say that if he beats him with one step, it is over is astonishing. Sherman (and his uber competitiveness) never gives props to individual receivers. Go ahead and stick your head in the sand all you want about Harvin, you won't be laughing Saturday!!
Thanks for the "insight" but we've seen Harvin before, several times as a matter of fact. Did you know he's never had a good game against the Saints? Or that the Vikings never beat us while Harvin was on the field?

I have no doubt he's a great wide receiver but we play great wide receivers all the time. We've got Julio Jones, Steve Smith and Vincent Jackson in our division. All of them had better numbers than Harvin in 2011, the last, and only time he played a full season.

Whoever it is needs to mug him at the line. Use that five yards you get to put some serious hands on him. Harvin is explosive but insanely soft. Lofton or Hawthorne drill him on a crossing route will end his night.

Who ever it is let's hope he don't get burned. Maybe if we're lucky the Fumblin Harvin from 09 will show up. Is it Saturday yet?

Yeah , agree, I think they are wasting a WR spot putting him in. He cant be game speed ready. Put the worst guy we have on him. Hell put a LB on him.

That's not what we want at all.

Two words - Will Herring. Heck ANY of our LB's would be toast.

well true, but this kid is not going to be ready from primetime after being out so often. Hes not a threat over Baldwin, tate, kearse, Miller. Just rouph him up at the line.
