Re: what positions to draft with 27th an 59th picks
I think we go WR with the 1st pick. After today we see that our defense can be stout. If Kelvin Benjamin falls to us , I honk we take him. With the 2nd round , I want Deone Buccanon if he is there or a DB

Be true to the board, then address needs via trade and FA.
Drafting by need tends to lead to overreach and disappointment. In my opinion, of course. |

The 7th rd pick was used for haralson the olb from 49ers who played well until hurt an the saints should try to resign him.

Re: what positions to draft with 27th an 59th picks
The draft will be dictated by what they do in free agency. Both Greer and Robinson should be back in the fold with White and Lewis already on the roster. I think they will bring Jenkins back as well. What is the prognosis on Greer? Will he be back before July?
I'd like to see the Saints continue to build both offensive and defensive lines. Linebacker is also must draft position. I agree that wide receiver needs to be addressed at some point. I am wondering if they will restructure Colston's deal and Brees? I think they are going to have to because they are going to have to pay Jimmy. Although I think Brees will be fine, and should have at least three more years in him. At one point or another they are going to have to address the position. Both Running back and tight end are in good shape... as long as Jimmy is taken care of. I still think they can use a good blocking tight end. |

Robinson was the 2010 32nd pick an i read to be in good shape for 2014 but to me white as good as him an we need a shut down corner Greer is done look for him to retire a saint.

Re: what positions to draft with 27th an 59th picks
From watching the game today, here's what I took from it:
1) Khiry Robinson is an absolute beast, and I don't know why it took so long for SP to give him a lot of opportunities. We'll be set with PT, Khiry, Sproles, Ingram. 2) We need another pass rushing LB to play opposite of Galette. By getting pressure with just galette, cam, hicks, and another pass rushing olb, it will definitely help our secondary. 3) Rafael Bush should start with Vaccaro next year. I see us resigning Jenkins in the offseason. 4) I loved the improvement from Armstead at LT but we need a new RT and a C if we don't keep De La Puente. On a side note, I would be interested to see if SP would draft DeAnthony Thomas from Oregon. I see him as a young, faster Sproles. |

Re: what positions to draft with 27th an 59th picks
We may not have that many needs this draft due to majority of the team is on ir lol Butler will be a good addition hopefully not to mention Rufus Johnson. I first off want another CB just watching how much lewis being sidelined effected us. WR is a reach IMO with Colston, Stills, Morgan and Moore. Not sure what we do with Toon but I'd draft a Jeffrey/Josh Gordan type player IMO.
In Sean/Loomis we trust. |
