So teams are rewarded by not spending money on their free agents?!? I can see if a team lost in a bidding battle, but to arbitrarily wait for high round draft picks?!? |

The formula works for them although there is a bit of a gamble. There is no guarantee on how many, if any Compensatory picks they get, only the top 32 lost value FAs get the last team picks. PFT is sort of recycling old articles from other news sources. Compensatory picks have proved valuable to Packers |
