Re: Terron Armstead
Definitely need a tackle; not hating, in fact I like that big lovable lug Strief, great guy, but he's sooo sloooow turning, recognizing his blocks on the screens, and bubble routes that the defensive linemen and linebackers are running past him before he turns and blows up our running backs and/or tight ends...

Re: Terron Armstead
I think a Pro Bowl Center would put us there. Also a WR like Fitzgerald or Bolden.

DLP is the only guy that realistically could be replaced affordably. And even he isn't terrible.
I know let's get Brees to play for less than Ryan, Cutler, Flacco, Schaubb, Brady, Manning, Rivers and Rogers. You know that every FA pro-bowler is just dieing to come play for us on the cheap. |

Re: Terron Armstead
Nothing wrong with Strief. Evans being hurt most of the year was more responsbile for any struggles on the right side of the line than Streif. In fact I would say Strief is as good right now as Stinchcomb was at his peak.
No problem with bringing in somebody to compete with DLP, but I think the starting five on the OL is fine just as it is. Grubbs is vastly overpaid as a good not great player. |
