"The Catch" Montana to D. Clark
"Immaculate Reception" Franco Then maybe "The Drive" Elway... Now the Saints have their own bright spot in the record books... I was at work and missed the game. I called my dad for an unpdate and he was so frustrated he had stopped watching it... First time I think he ever did that... wait no last year against the Colts. Anyways... he tried to describe the play to me, but I wasnt exactly sure what had happen... I just saw the highlights and laughed out loud... What was Brooks thinking? Where was he throwing? What was the point? He goes down losses 3-4 yards so he throws it backwards? Even if that would have been Deuce he still losses another 5-10 yards... So what is the point... I guess the fans got a little entertainment out of this... We can call this "The Pass"? I know I wont forget it for a while... Might be the best play of the season... At least we are gonna be on Sports Center more than once this week... Everyone the Not Top Ten plays on Friday nights... I can also promise that this will be on "What were they thinking" tomm... We get air time! Go Saints!!! [Edited on 8/11/2004 by SycoSurfer] |

I just saw Sportscenter\'s Top Ten
Aaron came in at #4 Congatulations Buddy! A play for the ages. The worst part of it is you can\'t point to that as a pivitol play. This game was filled with so many S*** plays one really doesn\'t distinguish itself form the rest of the turds. The play does serve to define the 04\' Aints. When will this misery end? When Lord? When\'s gonna be our time? |

I think the pass was Brooks way of saying if you don\'t trade me I will help the other team win. Anyone knows you don\'t lateral when lateral pressure is coming. Baically just a display of frustration. Either way though if he threw it it may of been an interception or became intentional grounding. One ot thoughs your damned it you do damned if you don\'t. But I say spare your self the embarassment take the intentional grounding call.
