I don't think Jimmy is soft, I tend to believe he was injured far worse than we were led to believe. I'd like to see him get healthy and stronger and focus on improving his blocking. But I'm not going to call him soft. You don't play 8+ games with plantar fascitis if you're soft.

But yeah, nobody should be able to jam him at the line, nor should anyone win a jump ball battle against him. And nobody should be able to run through him when he posts up for catch. All traits concerning physicality.
But in the Pats game is when you could see how much the foot injury was really affecting him. Remember in the 2011 Divisional Playoff game against San Fran, dude scored on a seam route with two Niners Defenders draped all over him. JG is far from soft, he was just more injured than we will ever know. I'll say this, for all those who doubt his level of toughness, go out and sprain the bottom, long muscle of your foot, then go out and attempt to do your normal daily routine. You'll stop calling him soft soon after.

i will stick with my comment for early. he did not put himself at risk as he did in previous due to contract year. that extra effort was missing. so soft

now explain to me how a good TE like Graham becomes elite,

do not disappear in the big games! so soft yet again

lets see what millions of dollars does the man. while he return to a beast form of years past?
