What to do with Curtis Lofton?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; If he can't cover, don't put him in situations where he has to. Play your players to their strengths, not to a scheme. Roman Harper and Lofton shouldn't even see the field on passing downs....

Well, you've got two QBs that run the read option playing for a conference championship this weekend. What does that tell you?

Has it really come to us questioning our best ILB?

lol It shouldnt
Lofton played really good this year. I do think we need more speed at LB but I dont think Lofton is a player the Saints need to get rid of just yet.

That they both have great Defenses and amazing running games...

Lofton lacks the speed we need but the guy is a beast against the run. I like Reddick but I would mind drafting a young ILB in the first few rounds.

Rez, that's fine if we knew on each down what the opposing offense was going to do...

And I get what your saying about the obvious situations, but something has to be done for all three downs; just don't get that we no longer have three down players and they make 5x's what the players of the 80's made...
