I hope Drew stays healthy and with us for as long as he can still play. Some folks are mentioning his replacement which unfortunately will have to come. However looking at the list of past Saints QB's can be a bit frightening! I almost had forgotten about the legendary Guido Merkens.

BTW....most of those guys were awful. The earliest I remember was Dave Wilson. Good lord most of those guys were barely suited to be backups. I liked Hebert. Till he went to the Failcons. Now I forgive him and like again.

The first QB I remember is Stabler. I didn't know rules or anything of that nature but I remember my dad liking the idea he was our QB.

Drew took more hits than ever as a Saint this year. I think Armstead will improve at LT but we need a new Center and possibky RG. MI and KR have to get better at picking up their blitz assignments too.

Griffin will be the number 2 this year.
There is a reason he was activated from the practise squad.Brees will get a extension next year to lower his $28ml cap hit and drafting a QB now would be a waste as they would need re-signed to a new deal too quickly.You want a player with at least 3 years left on his rookie deal to make the most use of the additional cap space you get.
