Why on earth would the majority of people polled on wwl want SF over Seattle??

Just goes to show you how most people are just casual fans of the game. We here at B&G and other message boards are here because the game of football is much much more than just the score and winning and losing. It is a passion

WWL had a poll asking the public if they would prefer SF or Seattle to go to SB. An overwealming majority chose SF. How quickly they forget that SF used to be a division rival and was hated just as much if not more than the Falcons.
Also if you are going to lose in the playoffs wouldn't you rather lose to a team that eventually makes it to the Super Bowl than a team that lost in the Championship Game??

nOw I do realize that the poll did not represent the entire Who Dat nation, but still.

I would agree with that poll. I hate the Seahawks a lot more that I do the 49ers. And for who whins and who you lose to, I couldn't care less.

They're pulling for SF, because Seattle just beat us. Misery loves company. If The Saints don't win, I don't want the team that beat us to win.

I would also choose SF over Seattle. 1. we beat SF so we arent as worried about them repeating next year plus i doubt them winning vs peyton and if Seattle won that would hurt more knowing that could be us. 2. Imagine the bandwagon and talking heads if Seattle won. They were handing them the SB before the season started. 3. Did I mention the Seattle fans that were claiming a blowout against us this past week.

Fresh wounds hurt more than old ones.

Whiners suck.

The only thing I desire more than a Saints SB win, is a whiners loss.

I assume people get emo over the Seattle 'trash talk', but I say good for them.
