Re: Thanks for the reminder Mel K
I hate when people do this krap with out first examining the reasons we drafted as we did.
Our RBs for the 2008 season Deuce McAllister Reggie Bush Pierre Thomas Aaron Stecker FB Mike Karny Who would have drafted any RB in the first round with Deuce and Bush on the roster. I know he says "2. The need of the team at the time is not considered. This is now purely "best player available."" Tell me, who on this planet couldn't repick the 2008 draft knowing what we all know now? |

I guess we'll have to wait two more years before Mel figures out that Jimmy Clausen wasn't really one of the 4 best players in the 2010 draft.

Isn't Jimmy Clausen out of the NFL?

Re: Thanks for the reminder Mel K
Yep after riding the pine for the 2011 and 2012 seasons, he was waived by the Panthers in Aug 2013 and passed through waivers unclaimed.
His career stats were: 13games played, 52.5 comp%, 3TD, 9INT, 2.5yd/att. 3fumbles, 11QBR and 58.4 passer rating. "To me, I think he was the fourth-best player. That's my rating. That's my opinion, and I'll stand by it. We'll see what happens three years from now.'' - Mel Kiper on Jimmy Clausen |

Re: Thanks for the reminder Mel K
When Carl Peterson was acting like a d*uche and asking for the world for Dorsey, I remember thinking, OMG Loomis is going to try a Plan B and it's gonna suck balls - we should just stay put and pick Mayo, Rivers or Balmer

Re: Thanks for the reminder Mel K
There is a reason Mel Kraper is on TV and not on an NFL payroll.
