Then I went to Miami and people realized I wasnt such a good evaluator of talent without a Hershal Walker trade. So I decided I would just go fishing.

Well, what do you guys think of Wannstedt as D-Coach. (Not Head Coach) He was pretty good in that capacity for a while, and he isn\'t doing much anymore. (Ricky strikes again)

Romeo Crennel - 2 SBs, on the most dominate team ever in the current FA era, has had the best defense in the league (or one of them) for two years despite tons of injuries and losses through FA, was on a team that set the record for consecutive wins, and has been around a great coach and in a great organization.

Jimmy Johnson is not gonna drag his legacy through the mud by coming here. You can forget about luring any retired veteran coaches out of retirement to coach here. The Mike Ditka experiment is all they have to view. They\'ll call him for advice, and he\'ll tell them to stay the hell away from Benson/N.O.

Kinda sounds like Wannstedt only without the Head Coaching experince. My dream would be Jimmy Johnson-HC/GM, Norv Turner-OC, & Wannstedt- DC. Great Asst. Coaches don\'t always make great Head Coaches, look how long it took Belichek to get it right. Don\'t get me wrong Romeo wouldn\'t be a bad choice but I would rather someone with Head Coaching experince kind of like how the Chicago Cubs hired Dusty Baker if you get the right front office people + the right coach amazing things can happen. |
