Ranking Saints needs: No. 4 Center/guard
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; My first choice would be to get a proven free agent like Mack or Dietrich-Smith but with the cap situation I know it's not likely. I think at least finding DLP's eventual replacement through the draft is a high priority....

not sure other than the 'interior' lineman title why these two positions are linked together... one (C) seems to be a true need, while the other (G) is stable. I mean, unless you have something against Pro-Bowlers.

I like De la Puente better than most people, but he seemed to have some issues with the mental part of the game last year. Bad thing to happen to a center. I wouldn't mind seeing what Lelito can do in that spot.
Grubbs was flat out terrible until about week 11. I'm not convinced he is somebody that should be with the team extremely long-term. Don't get me wrong, he has the talent but I wonder if his head is in the game sometime. |
