this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Sproles has consistently lead this team in Yards gained since he arrived in New Orleans. Every Year. Most Yards Gained. Even 2013....

Nothing Sproles can do about coverage and a lack of blocking or kick offs that land in the endzone.
When you are ranked 7th in the league in Fair Catches it speaks volumes for coverage. His ave punt return yardage is better than Patrick Peterson. |

Drew Brees loves Sproles... So I don't think there was ever any chance that Sproles would be cut/traded.
