Sean Salisbury actually said that he thinks the Saints have a chance to be around fighting for a playoff spot. He did say look at the division and the NFC is wide open, but he actually said we could be there...

He said Brooks might throw a backwards pass one week and 4 TDs the next. With McAllister, Brooks and Horn you never want to count this team out...

He is supposed to be an analyst correct? What is he watching when he watches us play? I agree we COULD be a contender, but honestly do we have a shot?

well..i don\'t care what salisbury says..we don\'t have a prayer of making the playoffs...i think we follow the team a bit more avidly than he does...ultimately..its probably a persuasive tactic to get home viewers to watch the remaining games...columnists write that we are hopeless..and haslett is gone...tv analysts say were playoff hopeful...you tell me whats going on...its not an uncommon practice...the ability to market an item is often equally if not more important than the product itself...

Salisbury was alone on picking the Saints to make a run. Everyone else said they didnt think we had a cahnce even in our division. They also said that we are the most disappointing and puzzeling team in the last 5 years. We lose a game we should win easy and then win a game we shouldnt be in... The NFL analysts have no clue about this team and neither do we. We never know what to expect. I guess that is why we go to the Dome every home game cause it MIGHT be a good week and we win.

Last time I went to the Dome was the playoff game against the Rams. Vowed not to go back until they could win another one after the collapse of \'01. Only way you\'ll see me come down from Chi-town now is if BnB actually suceeds in slipping me a roofy (he failed last time but I know that SOB will try again. LMAO! )
