Re: Saints sign K Shayne Graham and T Harris
The dropoff from Strief to Harris is LARGE. If Strief gets more money elsewhere, God bless him. But, I don't want to see Harris starting at RT.

Strief has NEVER had knee problems
Saints ran over right tackle 19% averaging 4.15 yards per attempt. Strief ranked 7th among 76 tackles in pass blocking efficiency Gave up only three sacks in 651 pass attempts in 2013 According to Pro Football Focus, the highest ranked player on the Saints Including Drew Get rid of the bum, right Rugby!!!! |

history wise you need to be aware of the knees. he does have a history of being banged up off and on which is expected over the years but the age factor is looming larger. I would like to see the saints draft early with the idea that by mid season we have a solid replacement ready to go. not saying he starts but is ready. then have streif finish out his time as a saint as the back up to both OT. that's if we can sign him. Harris is till a project that maybe able to step into the role of back up when streif retires. i just have not seen starter ability in him YET |
Re: Saints sign K Shayne Graham and T Harris
Every OL is going to have knee issues at some point. Especially the taller ones. Jagcatdad is absolutely correct in pointing out Strief's high level of play. He is one of the best right tackles in football. It is lunacy to think we should not be re-signing him this offseason.

Re: Saints sign K Shayne Graham and T Harris
I didn't think it was a question of whether the Saints would WANT Strief back. I think the question will be can they afford him. He's likely to get some good offers from other teams.
