For some reason that comment jarred a memory. The Saints GM, I forget who it was, was on Buddy D one night talking about new unis. This at a time when the Saints were not that good. Some guy calls and suggests they change the colors to blue and white and put the handicapped symbol on the helmet.

To this day, best call I ever heard on that show.

I hate it when franchises make uniform changes just for the sake of selling more replica goods.
On the other hand more replica goods means more money for the franchise which can be used to pay more money up front to players that need contract restructure. These signing bonus' come straight out of Bensons pocket. Might actually help the team if he could offset costs somehow to give more upfront money.
Not to mention better facilities, training equip, etch.

All black would be sweet IMO.

All white would be sweet as well. We've never worn these uniforms, somebody just photoshopped this. Looks awesome though, I'd love it if we actually wore these from time to time.
