Football Outsiders on Keenan Lewis
I usually take this stuff with a grain of salt, but since it's the off-season...
I read this on football outsiders and was shocked... "At cornerback, Keenan Lewis struggled in his first season after coming over from Pittsburgh in free agency, in part because he was often asked to cover the other team's top receiver for the first time in his career." FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | Four Downs: NFC South I had an entirely different opinion on Lewis' performance this season. Was I wrong? |

Re: Football Outsiders on Keenan Lewis
Definitely not wrong. Those guys don't know what they're talking about. Lewis was fantastic and played like a top 10 corner.
ProFootballFocus actually had Lewis on their pro-bowl team iirc. |

Their ratings engine is waaay off. Some the comments address it perfectly.

Re: Football Outsiders on Keenan Lewis
I used to really respect that site, but lately their analysis seems to be going downhill.
Our best CB, frequently matched up on the other teams best WR, and we finished 2nd best in the NFL is pass defense. Sorry, I just ain't buying it. Could they be thinking White or Greer? |

Re: Football Outsiders on Keenan Lewis
Rotoworld said he was a "borderline shutdown corner". I think that perfectly describes how Keenan Lewis played this past season.

Re: Football Outsiders on Keenan Lewis
He had his ups and downs until around mid-season( a new system for him to get use to) after that he settled in quite well. I think this year he will be really good.
