He is still preforming well despite being 32. I bet he can had at a reasonable price if you can get him away from denver. Plus it would give the saints a rotation that would look a 34 rotation. smarts and instinctive and can play various positions in a 34 OLB/DE and ILB if your in a pinch. I have always like is game. Solid

Re: How about Shaun Phillips

For me it's no, transition and change are the worst thing for an older player, would it work yes...... But just IMO, I would much rather trade a second or third round pick for a chance at Dion Jordan than take a chance seeing what Shawn Phillips has left.

BTW I think there are gonna be a lotta mid round trades in this draft for teams shopping players they consider to be busts..... Morris Claibourne the Dallas corner..... Maybe Dion Jordan, etc......

Not for me.
Bring back Haralson add in Butler and Junior and let Johnson battle it out with a rookie for the 4th spot.

If Miami would take a 2nd for Jordan during the draft I would jump at that.

I remember reading an article where Sean Payton thought highly of Dion Jordan before the draft last year. I wouldn't be surprised if we tried to acquire him. I wouldn't be upset about it. I think he would fit better in our scheme. He's to small to play DE in a 43....and he still had 2 sacks last year. Then again he does have experience playing TE, so if he doesn't work out at Olb, we can always try him at TE.

Morris Claiborne ... has been a terrible pick for the Cows. They should put him on the first train smoking outta Dallas.

With Ryan being at Dallas he should have good insight on him. He hasn't played well in Dallas at all.

Isn't Claiborne the one that was complaining about Ryan's defensive schemes.

I don't care who it is as long as the outside linebacker can rush the quarterback

Re: How about Shaun Phillips

Wanted us to go after Phillips last year, I doubt he leaves Denver though. Von Miller's coming off a ACL injury so he could resign there as an insurance policy. If we could get Dion Jordan for a 2nd I say we jump on that. He could give us a nice trio of pass rushers with Cam and Junior.
