Former Ole Miss tight end Wesley Walls and ex-New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Willie Roaf are among the nominees for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
The National Football Foundation (NFF) announced Thursday the 75 players and six coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 87 players and 26 coaches from the divisional ranks. Some of the other notable first-timers are Heisman Trophy winning running backs Rashaan Salaam of Colorado and Ricky Williams of Texas, Pro football hall of famer Willie Roaf of Louisiana Tech, Iowa State running back Troy Davis, a two-time Heisman finalist, Miami linebacker Ray Lewis, Southern California receiver Keyshawn Johnson and Kentucky quarterback Tim Couch.
