Yea hate is a strong word. Jimmy's comment was obviously immature yes, but it may have been a knee jerk. He is getting a lesson in how College football and the NFL are two different animals. He's never been in a contract negotiation before and may be having a hard time seperating emotion from business.

I agree.
This is like texting - easily misinterpreted because communication is 90% nonverbal. When the nonverbal is missing, we are forced to fill it in by nature.

Moore and Sproles both just starting to show age. Both for less money i would love to see back with the Saints.cadet has some of a blend of sproles an pierre skill set.Andy tanner with great hands being where he should be on the route has some of moores skill set.Jimmy should not be shocked as the money to tag him has to be there.I think the saints held on to Cadet an Tanner for this situation.

man none of this should be shocking to anyone, payton said at his presser after the loss in the playoffs against seattle that everyone on the team, players coaches and manager will get evaluated. and there will be changes made. well its happening people. none of these cuts are shocking, there play has dropped, being injury or just out hustled by there back-ups. we are moving forward. they will be missed, but replaced with free agents, draft picks, trades , what ever happened is going to help this team down the road, we have talent to keep our goal in our sites. S.T, BELIEVES.

Just shut up Jimmy. Do what you are told to do and play football.

By the same token, analyzing athletes' tweets is the dumbest thing to do, right after following athletes' tweets.

"Shut up and do what you are told"? Ok, mastah.

Hate his actions. Better?:)

Even the NFL network guys are poking fun at his statement.

He's young and maybe he doesn't really see the big picture cap wise.

He's a football player, not an accountant.

If the right team signs Jimmy to a offer sheet..I think We take the picks and continue with the remodeling of the offense

Who is next?

“Everything has been shocking,” Ingram said. “If something did happen to Pierre, it would be a shocker, too.

No idea... I do know that when heads are rolling at a company I work for I prefer to be out of sight, out of mind. Wouldn't want to tweet and become the topic of discussion at the "who is next" meeting. :dunce:

Not shocking, not even surprising.

In fact, it was necessary and expected.

How can anyone really be "shocked" by whats happening?
