Re: Malcolm Jenkins
I always hoped he'd work out. Thought he started thriving under Ryan, but not to the tune of 4mil/yr

No way I'd pay that either for him, but I wish him luck and thanks for all he's done for us. |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Oh, OK - same here.
I appreciate what he did for us, just don't think he was worth that big of a payday. To me, a great safety needs to make big plays like Sharper did (and hopefully be a good guy - but that's another topic) - lots of turnovers. |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
And I will throw in that being a member of the SB 44 team will always make Malcolm a Saint no matter where he goes in my eyes.
Can never forget the memories all those players provided for me that year. Unfortunately the business side of football means constant change. Just another example of "Patriot-ism" and how our team now follows it. |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Let me say this Danno
Got pretty old seeing him in chase mode instead of break up mode. My from what my Eyes saw With as much athleticism and ability he has I just always felt he under achieved. we all have different views |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Jarius Byrd is on his to NOLA we have to keep him here cut Sproles, Thomas, Bunkley, and Hawthrone
|
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Cutting Hawthorne and Bunk doesnt help at all
Hawthorne costs more to cut than keep and cutting Bunk saves you $1.3ml while trying to find another NT for the rotation for under that |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Idk bout cutting hawthorne but to get byrd im down for the other cuts. Byrd paired with Vacarro would be beast.

Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Quote:
Cutting Hawthorne would cost us money this year, his dead money is higher than his cap figure $3.5ml,dead money $4.5 Bunkley $6.1 cap/4.8ml dead Sproles saves $3.5ml,Thomas $2.9,Robinson $1.4 |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
