Can't disagree with this more. Sproles was our predictable back. We knew it was a pass or screen every time he was in the game. Plus (as much as I liked sproles) he wasn't much of a pass blocker at his size.

PT is by far the most versatile RB on our roster. He runs hard in between the tackles (finds holes I wish Ingram would find), catches the ball well and pass blocks well. If anything, you won't know what to expect when he's in the game because he does everything well. He's not the fastest but he's the least predictable of all our backs. In addition, as ingram and krob see more carries it's good to have a guy like PT around to mentor them.

Lol its called credit cards, pay it back later, the are pushing the high cap hits back to when brees contract is up that away they can have great players with brees and win, while hes still here. Also his contract takes a good bit of the money so when thats out the way they can spend it on the rest of the team from what im seeing

I understand the move. I hope he's real cheap. But, I personally would have liked to see an Ingram/Robinson combo. Having Thomas back most likely means the horrible rotation of one play per back will continue.

I like the idea of having PT back, but I want to know how this affects the cap. It may be set up to save cap space.
