I wouldn't be so sure we are screwed when he's gone. It looks to me like we are slowly structuring for an offense that can thrive without Brees. We will be able to bigger contracts if they are worth keeping and could get a great qb in the draft that will be playing on a cheap salary under the new cba.

i'm thinkin and that's dangerous but what if manzel falls to the 2 or even 3rd rd. does payton and loomis pull the trigger on our future?
