this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; There's a gift and a curse to this deal.... Listening to Bill Polian on the radio today he basically said, Loomis is a cap genius and he ( Loomis) wouldn't have made this Bryd deal if he were not really ...

There's a gift and a curse to this deal.... Listening to Bill Polian on the radio today he basically said, Loomis is a cap genius and he ( Loomis) wouldn't have made this Bryd deal if he were not really close to signing Graham and bringing his (Graham) cap number down with a long term deal.. But he said, there could a team out there willing to offer graham more money than the Saints could offer Jimmy.... that would be the only way the gamble doesn't work...
