Day Three of FA

What do you expect for:
-Graham and Strief, barely a whisper of a rumor so far
-Smith and Greer, old and hurt, time for teams to start looking at 2nd & 3rd tier guys?
-Bush- will someone up the ante?
-DLP?
-more restructures: Grubbs, Bunkley?
-and of course, where will Sproles land and at what cost?

Sproles to Redskins.

The longer nothing happens witj Strief the better. Id still be happy bringing him back for a couple of years.

I hope nobody puts a offer in for Bush as I rate him highly.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Greer back at minimum.

Re: Day Three of FA

Kind of surprised that I haven't heard a single word about any teams being interested in DLP or Strief... Like you said lee, that's a good thing. We can bring them back eventually if they don't get big money elsewhere.

I don't expect any more free agent signings for the Saints right now. Hopefully the Sproles trade takes place today. I think we'll start getting news about restructures before anything else happens.

Re: Day Three of FA

Really hope that Strief decides to come back. I think the interest that I have seen is minimal.
DLP, not so much. But he is a high ranked Centre, so there will be some interest.
Don't think (and hope) no one will go for Bush, as I really like him.
There will have to be some more restructures... we'll see who.

Would also like to see what happens with Greer. Before his injury he still performed well. If there is no interest (and he has healed), I would like to see him come back... I still think he's better than Robinson and White.

Sproles to Eagles... just heard on Sirius... not sure terms.

Re: Day Three of FA

The FA OT are falling fast.
Price is starting to be set too with Bengals loosing Collins to the Buccs for 5 years $30ml/$15ml gaureteed $6ml per year.

Strief must be in the $4.5/5ml range. Can we afford him on a 3 year deal?

Re: Day Three of FA

The market is certainly in our favor if Collins went 5/30/15.

Yes. Reduce that from LT $ to RT $ and we might be able to afford Strief
