New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles has already expressed his frustration with the team's management this week.

Now it's his wife's turn.

Sproles has been reported to be a trade candidate since last week, but remains on the Saints roster as of Wednesday night.

Sproles' wife Michel took to her Instagram account on Wednesday night to vent her disappointment with the Saints' front office, two days after Sproles indicated he found out he would be traded through reports on Twitter.

Sproles told ESPN on Wednesday morning he wished the Saints would release him instead.

Michel Sproles said she was upset with the way the team has handled the situation, writing that the team initially told Sproles he would be released, but later decided to trade him.

"I am so disappointed in the Saints organization & the way they are treating my husband," she wrote. "I understand this is a brutal business but when u have a good guy who works hard & does a lot for the community, u think they would show a little more respect."

She added: "WhoDatNation get ready for a ride because the seeds yall front office is planting its not gon be a good look for yall... See the way my God is set up he gets the last say and can get u back better than the Compton Curse out."

Michel Sproles clarified her words in a comment on her Instagram after her post began circulating around social media, which resulted in a frenzy of negative responses.

"I did not attack the Who Dat Nation, I specifically said I was referring to the Front Office," she wrote. "I think the Who Dat Nation is awesome!"

Sproles has been with the Saints since 2011.

You would have thought they would understand the way the game works by now. If somebody else was getting cut/traded so Sproles could get a bump in pay I doubt she would complain

There is justification in being angry over finding out info on your future through twitter but she should have vented at her husbands agent, he is the person that is supposed to be on top of all that.

I believe in loyalty and treating good people with respect, but in business (especially this kind of business) that doesn't mean you just automatically give the guy whatever he wants. It would obviously be more beneficial to the entire team if we can get something back for Sproles rather than just dumping him. It's possible they might have initially indicated to him that he'd be released and then, when teams became aware of that, they might have started contacting the Saints about a trade rather than letting Sproles hit the market, thus prompting the Saints to change their plans.

Management is paid a lot of money to serve the TEAM'S best interests. Not one player, or his wife. You're going to have to learn that, Michel.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Lets be honest if he is traded to somewhere he doesn't fancy living in he can easily leave his wife elsewhere from July-Dec while he plays out the last year or his contract.

I hate to see Sproles go through this. I feel his pain,but it is buisness and i dont think the Saints front office intended to do buisness this way. Thanks for everything Darren! Good luck with the rest of your career.

I've been saying Houston, for a fifth or sixth given the press lately would be our best bet. They weren't that far removed from being a contending team, and also foster is picking up the pace when it comes to being injured so there are touches to be had for someone as durable as sproles. Plus their pics are all in the beginning of rounds so you have that as an advantage as well.

Yeah, it is a brutal business. It is like the NFL owners play chess with the player and you never know if you can lose through a move, someone you want to keep.

twitter/Instagram and all of the social metworks are not good places to always communicate your every thought and especially at a time when you are frustrated, angry, sad about something.

Too many people like putting out too much personal business and their every thought on social media.

That being said, I guess the Mrs. really likes N.O. Saints, her husband's career there, and the city to live in at least part time for them. Perhaps too she feels her husbands career there is, was a place where he could be really successful as he was.
I prefer that message from her rather than one of saying her husband was going to a better town and team.

Shake her a break you guys.
