I've been liking this kid ever since we drafted him. I never heard of him untill we drafted him, but you don't here of to many FB's in college. Anyway, this kid is a fricking moose. He may not have the speed or awareness T. Smith had, but when this kid has a target, that target's going down. And another thing is his hands, he may have dropped one ball out of the 10 thrown to him. I think this guy should get some credit from yesterday's game and i think McCarthy needs to reconsider that ****ty ass two tight end set.

JKool,
Terelle Smith.... I am a big fan of the Fullback position, i would like to see Karney used more often with the ball in his hands, he is an excellent blocker, particularly on some of those goal line plays, he really sticks it to whoever is in his way! I think we need to get the ball to him more often, i mean he did pull off a nice 17 yarder in the preseason games and i really think he could be a great running fullback for us, a bit like a Mike Alstott. |

lets just hope haslett and the gang don\'t get this kid engrained in the ways of players we have that are just ..well..lazy..stupid..and all those things...this kid obviously was the steal of our draft....and one of the very few gems on this team...

Mull, buddy, I knew that. I was suggesting that Karney had made me forget all the \"we\'re gonna suffer without T-Rex\" stuff from the start of the year. More or less, I was havin\' some fun with the other guys here. On the other hand, I totally agree with you. I love the FB position. I remember back in the 80s when people were suggesting that the NFL was going to become a \"run and gun\" league and the positions like the FB, LB, and TE were going to become obsolete. I laughed... a lot. While it is true that the MLB position did fade from grace for awhile, it has made come back with guys like Urlacher, Moran, and Booker.
dberce, I love it. He is a Manimal! sdx, I\'m not sure he was a steal. Full Backs, even pretty good ones, don\'t go until very late in the draft. He was a steal in that we got him and someone else didn\'t, but he went right about where he should have, even if he was slightly better than he is, IMHO. |
