Depends on how you sort. I would say Guaranteed and S. Bonus effect us the most.. But hey, if arguably the 3rd/4th best QB in the league is making the 4th highest average in the middle of the contract.. I would say Loomis was spot frikken on in terms of value for this contract.

So many variables. Guaranteed money can be misleading due to length of contract. A guy guaranteed 20 million over two years is more expensive than a guy guaranteed 30 million over 4. But as you said, Brees' average places him 4th in the league for QB's, and thats about market value IMO. |
