Back In It?
If I've learned anything from the past two years, it's not to get too excited after a win. But we could realistically be back in this thing. They're are four NFC teams with 5 wins, and four with 4. If we win all but one of the remaining games (probably against Denver or in Atlanta), that would put us at 10-6. Or even if we lose two, either Devner and one against Atlanta, or both to Atanta or a let down game against a team we should beat, we'd still be 9-7. We could possibly pick off a Wild Card spot. Most likely, we can pick off the Giants. They just switched quarterbacks and they still have to play Philly, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore.
But no more of this playing down to competition, Saints! We can NOT lose to Carolina, Tampa (again!), or Dallas. [Edited on 16/11/2004 by G504] |

Wouldn\'t worry about DAllas. I\'ve watched pretty much all of the \"lower tier\" teams, and Dallas looks absolutely terrible. I know the Tuna is always a factor, but damn, they look like amateurs.

If we get a game or two over 500 I might mention that P-word, but they\'re gonna have to show me some consistency first.
With this current staff I wouldn\'t get my hopes up. Although if Deuce returns to 2002/2003 form, anything is possible although highly unlikely. I\'m gonna just enjoy one game at a time and see what happens. |

Hey, my comments aren\'t based on faith in us, it\'s a lack of faith in the other #2 teams, Vikings, Giants, and Seattle. All are stuggling right now. We only gotta be better than two of them.
