The child needs you two to function like a good offensive line during a screen. ![]() |

I even think some of the designated OLB's like Shazier and Van Noy would be fantastic ILB's if Loomis was interested in upgrading. |

If we don't draft either Christian Jones or Andrew Jackson as potential ILB's to replace our current guys then I'll be pi$$ed! I read that Rob Ryan was all over Jones at FSU's Pro Day... I love his versatility. Unfortunately he'll probably be drafted before our 2nd round pick. I'll add him to the list with Jean-Baptiste of guys that I wouldn't be mad if we traded up in the 2nd round to get. |

Re: Who is it ( Draft )
Gabe Ikard - top Center that can also play guard.
Gonna need this sort of player to run up the middle. |

Plus, one would expect a C who can play G to be bigger and stronger. Hate seeing our C pushed back into Bree's step-up lane. If we get a pure Center, then he should be a great one; otherwise, go for C/G. |

C/G gaps are where that happens and if there is enough threat to L/R C running it opens up the outside and the screen. For me personally our biggest issue on the OL last season was worrying about Brown, he didn't have a lot of horrible games but when he did it was bad... I am also not entirely sure he got a fair shot from the fans from the get go. After that we were plagued with players having to play hurt on the Right side.. Both Evans and Streif were nicked up a few weeks. We lack depth on the Offensive Line, look at the offensive line depth chart now and the the start of last season. We have been way too shallow, right now we have no back ups (with experience) for C/LG/RG/LT. Go back to 10/1/2013 and lelito was everyones back up. Ourlads' NFL Depth Chart Archive As unattractive as the proposition sounds, I think we pick up at least 2 Offensive linemen in the draft. A C/G and a T/G or a C and a T/G. I also think in a way our Screen game effects our short passing and running game but that is a different discussion. The threat of the Screen makes LBs stay home and that puts them right there in the short middle passing and running lanes. |

The one guy I couldn't live without is that guy from over there. We were talking about him in another thread.

Re: Who is it ( Draft )
We need a CB and I hope we use our first pick on a good one. Like D'squarius Green Jr or The Player Formally Known As Mouse Cop. Maybe even Jackmarius Tacktheritrix.
