MUDBUGS V

Hello again, Hou-Dats, (and WhoDats everywhere). Its time for MudBugs V, the official crawfish boil of the SETX Chapter of Who-Dat Nation. As you may know, me, and the Saints, have undergone some personnel changes. Well I'll be damned if this is going to stop MUDBUGS V.

Besides, I trust the 2 best GM's in the Universe, God and Mickey Loomis, to do what makes us winners. While Loomis' results will be months in guaging, I am already thrilled with my scouting department, and you can expect an upgrade easily worth a non-producing, former 3rd rounder. We're going with a youth movement, (Hey, I didnt ask for this) and team chemistry will be excellent. You might say I'm set in all positions.

Our new Hou-Dats acquisition (player to be named later) can play the SAXOPHONE! I am not making this up. We're a couple drums away, if Bob P is coming, from a jazz band at our cayenne flavored extravaganza.

The Two big questions are:
1. Site
2. Date
- Other than that everything's set.

-- Hou-Yat has already offered his beautiful home & pool.
-- However, I would like to expand the invite list, which might include some
people we've never seen in person, as well as media colleagues of mine.

Last year's site is not available, and probably looks like a SuperFund site now, anyway. However, my new home in Atascocita, (Humble, TX) (convieniently located near our saxophonist!) is available.... So lets talk. I'm all about what makes you happy. totally up to yall!

My target date is May 17, for various factors, one being how late it is now.
How does this work for everyone?????

Re: MUDBUGS V

We will be marathoning that weekend. Two marathons in each one of the months of April, May, and June. Depending on what you all decide, we will try to make it, of course.

Re: MUDBUGS V

That date (May 3) will work for us....I am committed to a golf fund-raiser that morning, but the afternoon looks good. Would still prefer April for the cooler weather though.

Hey Mike, in honor of your new sax player acquistion, name that tune....."I learned to work the saxophone, I play just what I feel". Showing my age a bit here.

Kelly cant do may 3.
The answer to your trivia question, off the top of my head, and using no google, is: Deacon Blue, by Steely Dan, (which I am sure I am a good personnel upgrade from.)

heres the latest:

may 17 is out.
MAY 3 not good.
