I think the general consensus is that Byrd thrived BECAUSE he faced a revolving door of mediocre QBs in his division. Don't get me wrong, the guy is good but I don't expect eye-popping numbers from him as a Saint. His skills however should improve our secondary overall.

We face Cam Newton, Matt Ryan and Josh McCown (previously Mike Glennon and Josh Freeman). He isn't exactly stepping into a Lions den of QB's in the NFC South. |
