Thats the beauty of it. You dont sign them all, it is however a larger pool to decide who you sign from.
Pulling 3 starters out of a group of 14 is a lot easier than a group of 7. There is also the element of no other team being able to evaluate those rookies until after we decide who stays and who goes. Cruddy for the players but gives us better odds as filling gaps with the best available talent. |
