So you'll get the actual draft and a real NFL game before you can see a movie about the draft.

Makes sense.


It's probably due to a lack of interest from theaters.

Yes, no way enough people in England would be interested in the ins and outs of American football. Same is true here- there are a lot of good futbol movies that were probably never released in the US- Damned United and Fever Pitch were good films

It wouldnt be a popular film over here but i was hoping that with the NFL being behind the film they would have asked for a small release in some theatres in major cities.I was hoping i would get to see it in London or a NFL backed screening.

Honestly. I don't see the NFL limiting the distribution intentionally. Not considering how much they are considering putting a team there. The movie would serve as a small gage.

If they are smart they'll try to get it on some London theaters in connection with the games there this fall.
